keep sausage hot

Both breakfast and dinner sausage enjoyed year-over-year sales gains in May 2025, according to retail sales data analysis from Circana. Breakfast sausage sales hit $215 million, up 2% over May 2024. Dinner sausage had sales of $598 million, an increase of 2.6% vs. May 2024 prices. From May 2024 to May 2025, dinner sausage sales totaled $5.7 billion, a 3.5% increase. Breakfast sausage sales were $2.4 billion, up 4.6%

Flavor and format innovations in the category are being propelled by demand for pack-size variety and new flavors, as consumers explore the latest trends for breakfast and dinner sausage.
