There’s something uniquely inspiring about multi-generational family businesses. There’s almost invariably an interesting founding story at the root of such enterprises. Coupled with that is the way you can track changes in the industry with the milestones of a company’s growth.
With that said, take a look at our profile on The National Provisioner’s Processor of the Year 2023: Mosner Family Brands. The third generation assumed leadership of the company toward the end of 2022 and promptly announced an acquisition along with a major expansion at their existing facility in the Bronx. The moves signal accelerating growth and reach for value-added proteins for the company, as it repositions itself from being a meat processor to a protein-based food solutions provider.
